Mrs. Raines was born July 28, 1928 to the late Charlie C. and Evelyn Smith Metcalf. Surviving are a son, Keith Michael Bright, Dothan, Alabama: two sisters, Delores Posey, Ashford, Alabama, and Suzi Pybus, Niceville, Florida; three grandchildren, Jace Bright, Josh Mabry, and Shelby Daniels; several nieces and nephews; aunt & uncle, Margaret & Ray Carter; sister-in-law, Kathy Long; special friends, Joel Offet, and her Jeffers work family, along with her favorite pet, Ruby. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Butler Dykes, Cottonwood, Alabama; a son and daughter-in-law, Bennett Thomas (Holly) Dykes, Dothan, Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy Lynn (Lynn) Granger, Dothan, Alabama; a brother and sister-in-law, Phillip (Maxine) Dykes, Pansey, Alabama; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bertha (Paul) Davis, Port St. Joe, Florida, and Mary Rhames, Wewahitchka, Florida; four grandchildren and spouses, Hannah (Phillip) Durant, Gregory Heath Bo (Kelsi) Dykes, Breanna (Jordan) Bell, and Caitlin (Derek) Guy; three great grandchildren, Phillip Julian Ian Durant, Zander Bennett Durant, and Liam Rylee Dykes. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren who she loved, cherished and enjoyed. Funeral services for Mrs. Holland will be held at 10 AM Saturday September 5, 2015 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Addis Habbard and Reverend Mark Brackin officiating. She was 62. Mr. Harts ashes will be scattered among the many places he truly loved, including Birmingham, Alabama; Auburn University; Destin, Florida, and the beaches of South Walton County, Florida. Jimmy grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mrs. Shiver is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Loyd Shiver; son, Jerry Shiver; granddaughter, Julie Pike; grandson, Doug Dismukes; four sisters and six brothers.
